Job Overview

Were looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer with 510 years of experience to design and develop robust electronic hardware platforms for industrial control systems used in fire detection, suppression systems, and other safety-critical industrial environments.

This role focuses on industrial-grade hardware, electro-mechanical control interfaces, networking systems, and low-power RF integration in high-reliability environments. The engineer will own overall design and implementation, support firmware integration, and contribute to system validation and regulatory compliance in industrial environments.

Qualifications

Experience: 510 years in electronics hardware development for industrial electronics hardware design.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related.

Strong expertise in industrial IO and control hardware, mixed-signal design, protection and isolation design, multi-layer PCB layout.

Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical driver circuits, RS485/RS232, Modbus, industrial networking, low-power RF module integration (Zigbee, BLE, Sub-GHz), EMI/EMC design practices

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system-level thinking skills.

Prior experience in regulated, safety-critical, or high-reliability domains preferred.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

Schematic Capture & PCB Layout: Altium Designer (preferred), SolidWorks PCB or equivalent

Analysis and simulations: Signal analysers, Power analysers, Thermal analysis, LTSpice, PLECS

Industrial Interfaces: RS485, RS232, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Modbus

RF: Zigbee, BLE modules, antenna tuning tools

Power: AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, LDO design

Lab Equipment: Oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, network analyser

Compliance: FCC, UL, ULC, FM, VDS, CE, EMC validation tools
