Senior .NET Developer Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with strong technical expertise and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable enterprise applications and working in cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust enterprise web applications and APIs
- Take end-to-end ownership of features: design, development, unit testing, and deployment
- Explain and document system architecture, data flow, and design decisions
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Provide support during deployment and delivery cycles
- Work with US clients in overlapping hours (~4 hours)
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong experience with:
- .NET Core, .NET Framework
- ASP.NET, C#, MVC Framework, WPF
- Web API / REST API, Web Services, Worker Services
- Multithreading and Design Patterns
- Unit Testing
- Solid understanding of:
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Principles
- SQL, Stored Procedures, Joins, and complex query optimization
- Familiarity with:
- WCF, Windows Services, Web Services
- Frontend frameworks:
- Angular or React
- DevOps knowledge:
- CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins (Harness is a plus)
- Source control tools:
- Git / SVN / Bitbucket
- Tools:
- Jira, Confluence
Good to Have
- Experience with:
- Angular, Blazor
- AWS Cloud (SQS, SNS, Lambda)
- Microservices architecture
- DevOps tools like Harness, Jenkins, CodeBuild
Candidate Profile
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities
- Deep understanding of multithreading and complex systems
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify gaps in requirements
- Experience working in Agile and cross-functional environments
