Senior Devop's Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and deployment platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, GitOps practices, and Python scripting. This role will be responsible for improving system reliability, deployment efficiency, and operational excellence across cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources, networking, storage, and security configurations.

Containerization & Kubernetes

• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Implement Kubernetes best practices for security, scalability, monitoring, and high availability.
• Troubleshoot cluster, networking, and application deployment issues.

CI/CD & Release Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate application build, test, security scanning, and deployment processes.
• Improve deployment frequency, reliability, and rollback mechanisms.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery.

GitOps & Automation

• Implement GitOps workflows and deployment strategies.
• Manage application and infrastructure deployments using GitOps tools and practices.
• Ensure version-controlled, auditable, and repeatable deployment processes.

Scripting & Automation

• Develop automation tools and operational scripts using Python.
• Automate routine administrative and operational tasks.
• Create reusable modules and utilities for infrastructure management.

Monitoring, Security & Reliability

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with security best practices.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive incident resolution.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices.
• Work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technology evaluations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
• Extensive experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing GitOps practices using tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational tooling.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, and security concepts.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Helm, Kubernetes Operators, and service mesh technologies.
• Experience with secrets management solutions.
• Familiarity with security scanning and DevSecOps practices.
• Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications are a plus.
