Senior Developer (VB.NET & PHP)

Location: Kharadi, Pune (onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent role

SHIFT TIMING: 12:30 pm - 9:30 PM IST (UK Shift)

Purpose of Role:

As a hands-on member of the team, the role requires that you will be writing code for new, innovative, project solutions, within our applications and services, working as part of a wider team and competent in working on projects as the sole developer.

Main Duties

Design, develop, test optimized solution within a VB/C#/MSSQL/DevExpress/.Net Framework environment.

Design, develop, test optimized solution within a PHP environment

Write comprehensive unit tests using to ensure robustness and reliability within our applications.

Debug and resolve issues, providing secure and optimised solutions.

Implement security best practices and compliance standards within projects, ensuring data protection and privacy.

Adhere to working/coding standards and best practices that are embedded within the team.

Participate in the specification of new projects

Provide support to junior colleagues when the need arises to assist with their work tasks

Take the lead of multi-developer projects, providing cumulative updates to Development Management

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven and recent experience as a VB.net and C# developer.

Solid programming skills in C#

In-depth experience working with DevExpress within a WinForms and/or WPF .Net environment

Knowledge/experience with Microsoft SQL server involved software developments

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across our teams

Experience with developing and using with Nuget packages

Experience working within Azure DevOps as part of the Software Development Lifecycle

Experience working with JSON

String experiences of API based developments

Experience in defining coding best practices / standards

Mentoring of junior colleagues both technically and ways of working
