Hiring: Technical Lead Database Engineering

Experience: 7+ Years

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead with strong expertise in database engineering, performance optimization, and cloud data platforms. This role combines technical leadership + active development.

Key Skills

Strong SQL expertise (T-SQL / PL-SQL, stored procedures)

Database design & data modelling (star/snowflake schema, SCD)

Performance tuning (query optimization, indexing, partitioning)

Cloud databases Azure SQL / Synapse / Snowflake / Redshift

ETL/ELT & data pipelines

CI/CD tools Flyway / Liquibase / DACPAC

2 years in a technical lead or senior architect role.

Responsibilities

Design scalable, high-performance database solutions

Lead database architecture & best practices

Optimize queries and improve system performance

Mentor team & review code/designs

Work on cloud migration & modern data platforms

Good to have

ADF / SSIS, Databricks, Delta Lake

Exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
