Job Description
Role: Data Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: Long term
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite)
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake, Azure, and modern data platforms, along with exposure to AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines (batch & real-time)
- Work with Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure data platforms
- Develop data solutions using Python, Spark, SQL, and Java
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Scientists
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure data reliability
- Leverage AI tools to improve automation and efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Software Engineering
- Strong experience with Snowflake and Azure
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, Kafka
- Strong programming skills (Python, SQL, Java)
- Experience building scalable data pipelines (batch + real-time)
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Linux environments
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Lambda Architecture
- Familiarity with Machine Learning / Deep Learning
- Strong problem-solving and independent working ability
