Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer & Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms. This hybrid role combines hands-on data engineering with strategic data architecture, supporting advanced analytics and investment decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica IICS, Snowflake, and cloud data platforms, along with strong experience in the investment/financial services domain. The role requires active collaboration with business stakeholders to define data strategies and deliver high-quality solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

*Data Architecture

-Define and implement enterprise data architecture aligned with business and investment strategies.

-Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data models and frameworks.

-Establish data governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.

-Lead data platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.

*Data Engineering

-Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IICS.

-Build and optimize data solutions on Snowflake for performance and scalability.

-Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across pipelines.

-Handle large-scale structured and unstructured data efficiently.

*Stakeholder & Delivery Management

-Engage with business users (finance, investment, and operations teams) to gather and refine requirements.

-Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and data models.

-Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable reporting and insights.

-Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.


Role Requirements and Qualification:

-Strong expertise in Informatica IICS (Data Integration, Data Quality, Application Integration).

-Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, optimization, performance tuning).

-Strong knowledge of data modelling (dimensional, normalized, and enterprise models).

-Experience in cloud platforms.

-Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing.

-Proven experience designing end-to-end data solutions.

-Exposure to Power BI or similar analytics tools.

-Knowledge of data governance and data catalog tools.

*Domain Expertise

-Experience in investment management, asset management, or financial services.

-Understanding of financial data, portfolio analytics, and reporting frameworks.

-Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in financial environments.

*Soft Skills

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

-Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.

-Strong leadership, ownership, and mentoring capabilities.

-Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
