Job Title: Controls System Engineer

Location: Pune (Khed Shivapur)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Controls System Engineer to design, develop, and support control systems for special-purpose industrial machinery. The role involves PLC programming, system integration, commissioning, and ensuring compliance with global safety and engineering standards.

Education & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Engineering
• 510 years of experience in control systems and automation
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical/ePLAN and industrial integrations (robots, vision systems, etc.) is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical control systems for industrial machines
• Develop and commission PLC, HMI, and safety control systems
• Interpret technical specifications and create control logic/flowcharts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, applications, quality, etc.)
• Support machine installation, debugging, and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with ISO and international safety standards
• Prepare technical documentation (schematics, manuals, specifications)
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers

Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal mandatory)
• Proficiency in HMI design (WinCC preferred)
• Experience with SINUMERIK / motion control systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
• Experience in machine commissioning and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of safety systems and industrial standards
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
