Your work profile We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant Mobile Automation SDET with 610 years of Software Quality Engineering experience to lead Mobile Automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Appium , drive automation strategy, mentor engineering teams, and establish quality engineering best practices to ensure successful delivery of enterprise mobile applications. Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable Mobile Automation frameworks using Appium . Define and drive Mobile Automation strategy across multiple projects and releases. Review automation scripts and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices. Mentor and guide automation engineers through technical reviews and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and client stakeholders throughout the SDLC. Lead automation planning, estimation, execution, and release activities. Integrate automation suites with GitHub and Jenkins . Drive code quality initiatives using SonarQube . Perform API validation using Postman . Utilize Charles Proxy for mobile application debugging and network analysis. Collaborate with UI/UX teams to validate application designs using Figma . Support release validation activities and deployment readiness. Analyze automation execution results, lead defect triage discussions, and perform root cause analysis. Drive continuous improvements in automation frameworks, engineering practices, and quality processes. Participate in Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and technical discussions. Key skills required Mobile Technology Landscape Expert-level experience with Appium for Android and iOS automation Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Minimum two (2) years of Appium mobile automation or other mobile automation tools like Selenium, though Appium is preferred Minimum One (1) year experience in Native UI test tools such as Espresso and XCUI Minimum One (1) years of device emulation & simulator tools like Perfecto or BrowserStack Minimum three (3) years of Test automation using Java Minimum three (3) years of Test management tools like Qtest or QualityCenter Minimum three (3) years of Defect management tools like JIRA or Rally Minimum three (3) years of API Test / Debugging tools like Postman, etc Minimum one (1) year in an informal lead role working with technical teams. Functional testing is mandatory MANADATORY Appium & Preferred - XCUITest OR Espresso Good to Have Skills Exposure to release management using Stamps Knowledge of Mobile CI/CD practices UI validation using Figma Experience mentoring automation engineers Strong stakeholder management skills Soft Skills Technical leadership and mentoring Strong stakeholder and client management Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Ownership and decision-making capability Cross-functional collaboration Education Bachelors degree in computer science, CIS, or related field
