Role Description The Senior Consultant will be responsible for leading and delivering cybersecurity consulting engagements for clients in diverse sectors. Day-to-day activities include assessing security controls, evaluating compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and preparing clear, actionable recommendations to strengthen clients cybersecurity posture. The role involves developing and presenting reports, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, and supporting the design of policies and procedures aligned with regulatory expectations. The Senior Consultant will also mentor junior team members, contribute to internal knowledge development, and participate in business development activities such as proposal support and client presentations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity consulting, including risk assessments, security control evaluations, and policy development.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, SOC 1, 2,3 data protection and privacy regulations).
- Proficiency in analyzing technical security issues and translating them into clear business-focused recommendations and documentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven experience leading projects or workstreams, managing timelines, and delivering high-quality client deliverables.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, collaborate in a team-oriented environment, and adapt to evolving client needs and regulatory landscapes.
