About the Role

Were looking for a Senior Cloud Security & Reliability Engineer with strong Azure expertise to join our MSP team in Coimbatore. Youll be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for the reliability, security, and optimization of our manufacturing clients Azure environments 24/7. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. Youll manage AKS clusters, build IaC, automate operations, and directly impact client outcomes through improved uptime, cost savings, and hardened cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Own Reliability: Lead 24/7 Azure cloud operations and incident management. Define and enforce SLOs. Drive RCA with a client-first mindset.
• Engineer the Blueprint: Translate client requirements into scalable, secure Azure architectures. Build and maintain IaC modules and operational playbooks.
• Automate Everything: Embed AI-driven automation, predictive monitoring, and AIOps to eliminate toil and preempt incidents before they happen.
• Drive FinOps: Own cloud cost optimization for clients analyze, configure, and continuously improve Azure spend efficiency.
• Be the Expert: Represent deep technical expertise in client conversations, internal demos, and documentation.
• Mentor & Elevate: Coach junior engineers through code reviews and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications

47 years of total experience with 3+ years on Azure cloud infrastructure. Strong background in Cloud Managed Services / MSP environments. 2+ years in a client-facing technical role (cloud ops, security, or reliability).

Required Skills

• Azure: AKS, VNet, NSG, Azure AD/Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
• Kubernetes: Hands-on AKS cluster management Helm, autoscaling, node pools
• IaC: Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates (demonstrated in work experience)
• Observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana
• Security: Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, NSG, Defender for Cloud
• Scripting: Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure Certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400)
• Microsoft Sentinel / Defender for Cloud experience
• FinOps Foundation Certification
• Manufacturing / industrial domain experience
• SAP on Azure or IoT/OT cloud integration exposure
