Role : Senior Cloud Security Engineer (AWS, Prisma, Upwind, CNAPP)

• Location: Hyderabad
• Hybrid work model WFO - minimum 3 days in office mandatory

• For a US Based Healthcare / Genetic Data analytics Client

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to operate and scale cloud security defenses across AWS environments. In this role, you will embed security into CI/CD pipelines, optimize our CNAPP tooling, and apply security guardrails to emerging AI automation for a prominent Healthcare & Life Sciences client.

Key Focus Areas

• CNAPP Operations: Deep hands-on experience deploying, maintaining, and tuning sensors/alerts using Upwind or Prisma (CSPM/CWPP tools).
• AWS Cloud Security: Hardening cloud-native environments, managing IAM, networking, and ensuring alignment with security best practices.
• DevSecOps & CI/CD: Integrating shift-left scanning and vulnerability remediation directly into active deployment pipelines.
• AI Tooling Security: Familiarity with securing AI-assisted development workflows, coding agents, and emerging frameworks (e.g., MCP concepts).
• Automation & Scripting: Utilizing Python or Bash alongside Jira integrations to automate tracking and alert response.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

- Experience with Kubernetes/Container security and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

- Familiarity with native AWS security tools (GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config).

- Experience with supply chain security and hardened machine images.

Required Skills & Experience

5-8 years in cloud security, DevSecOps, or related engineering role

Hands-on AWS experience (IAM, EC2, S3, VPC; exposure to EKS/ECS a plus)

Familiarity with CNAPP/CSPM/CWPP tools (Upwind or similar)

Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Experience with Linux systems and troubleshooting

Basic scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)

Understanding of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, networking, vulnerabilities)

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, and emerging frameworks

(e.g., MCP concepts, agent-based tooling)
