Are you a senior AWS cloud engineer who enjoys owning large-scale, highly available platforms in production environments?

We are supporting a fast-growing energy & e-mobility technology organization that is building and operating a global, multi-region SaaS platform supporting electric vehicle charging infrastructure, energy utilities, and connected devices worldwide.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep AWS expertise, platform ownership, and operational leadership in complex cloud environments.

What youll be doing

• Acting as the primary AWS Subject Matter Expert for platform operations and managed services
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing AWS infrastructure for scalability, security, and performance
• Ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies across multi-region environments
• Driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation / Ansible
• Leading incident, problem, and change management aligned with ITIL practices
• Partnering closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams
• Implementing cost optimization and governance frameworks (RI, Savings Plans, Spot, monitoring)
• Creating and maintaining runbooks, operational documentation, and best practices
• Recommending adoption of new AWS services aligned to enterprise needs

What were looking for

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 3+ years hands-on AWS cloud engineering/architecture
• Strong experience supporting high-availability SaaS platforms in production (mandatory)
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, Lambda, EKS/ECS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Transit Gateway)
• Solid experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong background in DevOps / SRE models and Agile environments
• Proven experience delivering distributed, secure, and resilient cloud systems
• Excellent stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills

Nice to have

• Experience with IoT platforms
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, Security Specialty)
