Role Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Mid Level Senior Backend Engineer to lead the design and development of our next-generation backend platform. You will build and scale microservices that power identity, authorization, mobile data flows, admin operations, reporting pipelines, and AI/ETL integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement backend services using Node.js/NestJS in a microservices architecture.

Build secure authentication and authorization systems.

Develop domain services for Mobile, Admin, and SuperAdmin workflows.

Implement event-driven communication using message queues/brokers.

Own PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, query optimization, and data integrity.

Integrate Python-based ETL and AI services into production APIs and workflows.

Collaborate with frontend, product, and data teams to deliver business-critical features.

Required Qualifications

Experience

3+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments.

Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.

Hands-on experience with microservices and event-driven systems.

Strong PostgreSQL skills (schema design, joins, performance tuning, indexing).

Strong understanding of API security and enterprise access control patterns.

Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Git workflows, and production deployments.

Strong ownership mindset and system design capability.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Python/FastAPI for ETL and AI services.

Familiarity with Redis, caching, and distributed rate limiting.

Experience in FMCG, retail, distribution, or supply-chain products.

Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
