Role Description

RewardsX is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to work on robust and scalable backend solutions using Node.js, GCP, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. In this full-time, remote position, you will architect, develop, and maintain backend systems, ensuring seamless integration with the front-end and optimal performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement new features. Additionally, you will play a critical role in code reviews, best practices, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Proficiency in Node.js and database technologies like MongoDB and PostgreSQL
Knowledge and experience in Front-End Development, with an understanding of integration with backend systems
Proven problem-solving and Programming skills with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is highly desirable
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
