Position: Senior Backend Engineer

Experience: 7+ Years

Location: Bangalore

Notice Period: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Own backend features end-to-end, from architecture and development to deployment and observability.
• Drive system reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, Data Platform, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor team members and contribute to backend engineering best practices and standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of backend development experience using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript (MEAN Stack).
• Strong expertise in backend frameworks and RESTful API development.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), system design, and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with distributed systems, caching, messaging, cloud-native architectures, and database design.
• Hands-on experience with:
• MongoDB
• PostgreSQL
• Redis
• Elasticsearch
• Strong knowledge of testing, debugging, observability, and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS.
• Knowledge of security, authentication, and resilient production-grade services.
• Exposure to data platforms, analytics systems, or GenAI/LLM-based backend solutions.
