Senior Back End Developer

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in designing, building, and scaling backend systems for web, mobile, SaaS, and AI-enabled applications.

This role is ideal for someone who has deep backend knowledge, strong coding skills, and the ability to define clean architecture, APIs, database structures, integrations, and backend best practices for multiple products.

You will work closely with founders, business analysts, frontend developers, and the engineering team to convert business requirements into scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and build scalable backend architecture for web, mobile, and AI-based applications

* Create clean APIs, database schemas, backend modules, and integration flows

* Work with business analysts to understand product requirements and convert them into technical solutions

* Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality backend code

* Review code and guide junior/mid-level developers

* Define backend coding standards, API standards, and database best practices

* Design data flows to support product features, analytics, and reporting

* Work with DevOps/cloud teams on deployment, performance, monitoring, and security

* Evaluate third-party APIs, tools, and platforms when needed

Required Skills

* 6+ years of strong backend development experience

* Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript

* Good experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases

* Strong understanding of API design, REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and backend security

* Experience designing scalable, modular backend systems

* Good understanding of system design, database design, queues, caching, and background jobs

* Ability to write clean production-level code

* Experience reviewing code and guiding developers

* Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

* Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

* Experience integrating AI APIs or working on AI-enabled products

* Experience in SaaS, B2B platforms, marketplaces, or high-traffic applications
