Job Title: Senior Automation Test Engineer (Playwright + API)

Location: Bangalore

Employment Type: Permanent

Experience: 69 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for Web applications and APIs
• Perform API automation testing using tools like Rest Assured / Postman / similar frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/SAFe environment
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.)
• Ensure test coverage, reliability, and scalability of automation suites
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and ensure defect tracking
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, and continuous improvement
• Work with modern concepts like MCP (Model Context Protocol) / AI-assisted testing

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience in API Automation (Rest Assured or equivalent tools)
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks & design patterns (POM, etc.)
• Experience with test runners (Jest/Mocha)

Good to Have:

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to MCP / AI-driven testing tools
• Experience in cloud/platform testing

Required Experience:

• 69 years in automation testing
• Strong experience in UI + API automation
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end testing lifecycle
