Role Description The Senior Architect manages the entire project, from the first meeting to final construction. This role requires a balance of creative design, team leadership, and technical precision to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to the firms standards.


Key Responsibilities


1. Design & Team Management


Project Leadership: Lead the design process by turning client requirements and budgets into clear concepts, mood boards, and layouts.

Team Supervision: Direct and manage a team of 2 or more junior designers, overseeing their tasks and ensuring their work is accurate and high-quality.

Design Development: Produce and oversee GFC, detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using AutoCAD and SketchUp.


2. Communication & Coordination.


Client Relations: Act as the primary contact for the client, providing regular updates and managing project expectations.

Internal Reviews: Track project progress and meet regularly with Principal Architects to ensure the design stays on track.


3. Technical Execution & Site Support.


Consultant Coordination: Work closely with MEP and Structural engineers to integrate their systems into the architectural plans without errors.

Quality Control: Thoroughly review all technical drawings and material detail to ensure everything is resolved before it gets executed on site.

Construction Support: Create Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, answer site queries (RFIs), and resolve any design changes or technical challenges during building.

Compliance: Ensure all designs follow local building codes, regulations, and site constraints.

Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address design issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications


Qualifications


Be Graduate/ Postgraduate in Architecture (B.Arch/ M.Arch) from an accredited institution.

Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design and project management, preferably in residential or commercial projects/corporate offices.

Proficiency in AutoCAD & SketchUp and any other design software.

Be able to lead and manage a small team, and be a very good, clear communicator in English & Hindi.

Have experience of site-works, and technical knowledge (MEP, materials, construction, etc.)

Be strong in planning, working in a team, and interacting with coworkers.
