Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial planning and analysis, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating audits. The individual will also assist in process optimization to enhance efficiencies and support managerial decision-making through accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
• Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and auditing
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification is a plus
• Experience in the jewelry or related industries is an advantage
