Security Infrastructure Engineer

About the Opportunity:

Join FPL Technologies as a Security Infra Engineer to build and secure our rapidly scaling cloud infrastructure. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between security engineering and infrastructure operations, ensuring our containerized workloads and cloud environments remain resilient against emerging threats. You will play a pivotal role in embedding robust security practices directly into our foundational architecture.

What you will do:

• Design, deploy, and manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to ensure continuous compliance and threat detection across our cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain robust Kubernetes and container security protocols using industry-leading tools like Sysdig to protect our microservices architecture.
• Develop and enforce fine-grained access controls and security policies across our infrastructure using Open Policy Agent (OPA).
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate automated security checks and vulnerability scanning directly into the CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor infrastructure telemetry to proactively identify, investigate, and remediate security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Drive the evolution of our zero-trust architecture by continuously evaluating and deploying modern cloud security solutions.

What are we looking for :

Essential Qualifications:

• 4 to 8 years of proven experience in a hybrid role blending security engineering and infrastructure management.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes Security and Container Security practices across enterprise-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platforms and public cloud ecosystems like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong proficiency in writing and managing policies using Open Policy Agent (OPA) or similar policy-as-code frameworks.
• Practical experience with runtime security and monitoring tools, specifically Sysdig or Falco

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant industry certifications such as CKS, CKA, or specialized cloud security certifications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation with a strict focus on security best practices.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automating security operations.
• Prior experience working in the FinTech sector or handling strict compliance standards like PCI-DSS.
