Security Incident Responder

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Security Incident Responder to join our CERT team. The candidate will be responsible for handling security incidents, conducting investigations, and ensuring timely response to cyber threats while maintaining organizational security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and threats.
• Perform in-depth incident analysis, investigation, and root cause identification.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Work with SOC teams to analyze alerts and escalate incidents when required.
• Utilize various cybersecurity tools for threat detection and response.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement corrective actions.

Required Qualifications:

• B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• OR
• Postgraduate (CS / IT) or equivalent

Certifications (Any one preferred):

• GCIH (Certified Incident Handler)
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CSIH (Certified Computer Security Incident Handler)
• CompTIA Security+
• OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
• Certified SOC Analyst
• SANS SEC504 or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Incident Response and Security Analysis.
• Hands-on experience in incident investigations and handling security breaches.
• Experience in performing risk assessments and using cybersecurity tools.
