Job Role: Responsible for managing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network and perimeter security infrastructure. The role involves configuring and maintaining firewalls, WAF, load balancers, DDoS protection, and other security solutions to ensure robust protection, high availability, and secure access across the organization.

Experience:

• Total Experience: Minimum 6+ years in Network Security and Perimeter Security management
• Proven experience in handling enterprise-level security infrastructure, including implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting

Education Qualification:

• Min. Education: B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (IT) or equivalent from a recognized institute

Certifications (Mandatory):

• CCNP / CCIE or JNCIS / JNCIP

Technical Skills:

• Network Security: Firewall, WAF, DDoS Protection, NIPS/IDS, Proxy, VPN
• Firewalls: Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortigate, Checkpoint
• WAF: Cloudflare, F5 ASM, Akamai, FortiWeb
• Load Balancer: F5, A10
• Networking: TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, NAT, ACL
• Security Protocols: SSL/TLS, Certificates Management
• Monitoring & SIEM: Log Analysis, Security Monitoring, Incident Detection
• Threat Management: Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), DDoS Mitigation
• Tools & Practices: OEM/Vendor coordination, troubleshooting tools, audit compliance

Relevant Skills:

• Managing and configuring enterprise security devices and solutions
• Implementing and maintaining firewall and WAF policies
• Handling load balancers and DDoS protection mechanisms
• Monitoring security alerts and performing log analysis using SIEM tools
• Troubleshooting complex network and security issues
• Managing VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and VLAN configurations
• Conducting incident investigation and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Supporting application onboarding behind security layers
• Ensuring compliance with security standards and audit requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and configure all security devices across the infrastructure
• Handle Firewall, WAF, Load Balancer, DDoS, NIPS, Proxy, and VPN
• Support and secure switching and routing infrastructure
• Implement and support new security projects and initiatives
• Troubleshoot complex network and security-related issues
• Configure, review, and maintain security policies and rules
• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events proactively
• Perform incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Support application onboarding behind WAF, Firewall, and Load Balancer
• Coordinate with OEM/vendors for issue resolution and support
• Maintain documentation, reports, and SOPs
• Support audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure overall perimeter security of the organization
