Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:

• A seasoned Secure by Design (SbD) Consultant with deep expertise in the SD-WAN domain, network security, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in firewalls, SASE architectures, and networking infrastructure, and must be familiar with the product ecosystems of leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Palo Alto Networks, and others.

Key Requirements,

• Expert in SD-WAN and associated security domains across enterprise network.
• Evaluate and ensure secure architecture design in line with organizational security policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform in-depth security posture assessments of products, projects, and solutions from a network and cloud security perspective.
• Recommend architectural and configuration improvements to mitigate identified risks early in the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations teams to influence security decisions during the solution design phase.
• Translate security principles into technical requirements for SD-WAN deployments, including segmentation, encryption, zero trust, and secure access.
• Review vendor offerings (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, VMware Velocloud, Zscaler, etc.) and help select appropriate solutions based on security efficacy, compatibility, and scalability.
• Ensure alignment with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) frameworks and secure cloud connectivity strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
