Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior SEO Specialist to join our team on a remote contract basis. If you are passionate about driving organic growth, optimizing websites, and delivering measurable resultsthis role is for you.

As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will lead end-to-end SEO initiatives including keyword research, technical audits, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance website performance, improve rankings, and achieve business goals.

• Conduct in-depth keyword research and develop SEO strategies
• Perform comprehensive SEO audits and recommend improvements
• Implement on-page optimization (metadata, headings, content, internal linking)
• Develop and execute link-building campaigns
• Monitor and analyze website performance using analytics tools
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams
• Stay updated with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices

• 7+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
• Strong expertise in technical SEO, keyword research, and content strategy
• Proven experience with government, semi-government, or institutional websites (preferred)
• Experience working in compliance-driven or messaging-sensitive environments
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as:
• Google Analytics (GA4)
• Google Search Console
• SEMrush / Ahrefs
• Screaming Frog
• PageSpeed Insights
• Strong experience with WordPress SEO (Yoast / Rank Math, schema, site structure)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

• Familiarity with GCC markets
• Knowledge of Arabic (not mandatory)

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience
