Role Overview

Amaavigo is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and ownership-driven SEO Expert with proven experience in improving website visibility, search rankings, organic traffic and lead generation.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Content SEO, Local SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and evolving AI-driven search ecosystems.

This role requires someone who understands both search engine algorithms and user intent deeply.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Planning

Build and execute SEO strategies for client websites and internal brands.

Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis.

Create growth roadmaps for organic visibility and lead generation.

Identify ranking opportunities across multiple industries.

On-Page SEO

Optimize website pages for:

Keywords

Meta titles & descriptions

Headers

Internal linking

Content structure

Schema implementation

Image optimisation

URL structuring

Improve page relevance and user experience.

Technical SEO

Conduct technical audits and resolve issues related to:

Site speed

Indexing

Crawlability

Core Web Vitals

Broken links

Redirects

Sitemap & robots.txt

Canonical issues

Mobile optimisation

Off-Page SEO & Authority Building

Build quality backlinks through ethical link-building methods.

Manage citations, outreach, and brand mentions.

Improve domain authority and search trust signals.

Local SEO

Optimise Google Business Profiles.

Manage local citations and location-based rankings.

Improve map visibility and local lead generation.

Content SEO

Work with content writers and strategists to create SEO-driven blogs, landing pages, and website content.

Guide content clusters, pillar pages, and semantic keyword strategies.

Align content with user intent and search demand.

AEO / AI Search Optimisation

Optimise content for:

Featured snippets

AI search results

Voice search

Conversational search patterns

Answer engines

Stay updated with changing search behaviour due to AI.

Analytics & Reporting

Track and improve:

Organic traffic

Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights.
