Role Description The Script Writer - Tamil is a full-time remote role responsible for creating engaging, clear, and culturally relevant Tamil scripts for video content related to overseas education. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves understanding content briefs, researching topics, and developing structured scripts that align with EduMoxs brand voice and educational objectives. The Script Writer will collaborate with content strategists, video producers, and subject-matter experts to convert complex information into simple, audience-friendly narratives. Responsibilities include drafting and revising scripts, adapting content for different formats and platforms, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and inclusivity in all Tamil content. The role also involves meeting production timelines and incorporating feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve content quality.

Qualifications

• Strong Tamil Scriptwriting, Scripting, and Writing skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and audience-focused educational content for Youtube & Instagram.
• Experience or familiarity with Screenplays and narrative structuring to build compelling, visually driven scripts.
• Basic understanding of Video Production workflows to write scripts that are practical for filming and editing.
• Excellent command of Tamil and good proficiency in English for understanding briefs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to conduct research on education and study-abroad topics and translate findings into accessible scripts.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
• Prior experience in educational content, media, or digital content creation is preferred but not mandatory.
