Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and research-driven Reel Script Writer who understands audience psychology, storytelling techniques, and content hooks. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently researching topics, identifying trending ideas, and writing engaging scripts that retain viewers from start to finish.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about tech, understands how high-performing Reel content works, and can quickly turn trends into engaging scripts. We are especially looking for someone who stays updated with the latest happenings in the tech world, including AI trends, tools, and innovations, and can spot opportunities to create content around them quickly.

Responsibilities

Research & Topic Ideation

- Research trending topics in technology, gadgets, apps, AI& innovations

- Stay updated with the latest developments in the tech and AI ecosystem

- Identify emerging trends quickly and convert them into Reel content

- Suggest original and engaging Reel ideas regularly

Reel Scriptwriting & Storytelling

- Write engaging Reel scripts with strong hooks, fast pacing, and clear messaging

- Convert technical concepts (including AI and emerging tech) into simple, relatable, and entertaining short-form content

- Ensure high retention and engagement in every script

- Adapt writing style for Reels format

Collaboration & Production Support

- Coordinate with hosts, editors, and production teams for Reel execution

- Assist in shoot planning with clear script flow and cues

Qualifications

To excel as a Reel Script Writer, you should have:

- Proven experience in Reel/short-form scriptwriting

- Strong storytelling skills with a deep understanding of hooks, pacing, and retention

- Excellent research and fact-checking skills

- Strong awareness of tech trends, AI developments, launches, and viral content formats

- Ability to simplify complex topics for a mass audience

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, trend-driven content environment
