Job Description: SAP UI5 / Fiori Developer / Architect

We are looking for an experienced SAP UI5 / Fiori Developer / Architect with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing SAP Fiori/UI5 solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in frontend and backend SAP development, strong exposure to S/4HANA environments, and the ability to work as both a consultant and team lead while delivering scalable, high-performance SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions and functional specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement SAP UI5 / Fiori applications aligned with business needs.
• Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Unit Test documents for solutions being implemented.
• Perform end-to-end configuration of SAP Fiori applications and landscape.
• Extend and customize standard Fiori apps based on project requirements.
• Develop and consume OData services, Web Services, and CDS Views in Fiori applications.
• Work extensively on ABAP on HANA and backend integration for Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Develop solutions using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Configure and manage ATC and Code Inspector for quality assurance and coding standards.
• Handle performance tuning and code optimization for SAP applications.
• Support DevOps transition activities, including transport management and SAP environment management.
• Work with SAP Development Tools such as SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, and other SDKs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to solve complex business problems.
• Participate in Agile project delivery, including development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Support SAP configuration related to enterprise master data structures, sales order types, item categories, and listing/exclusions.
• Contribute to backend integration activities involving RFC/BAPI, Cloud Connectors, and related SAP services.
• Ensure quality through testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Mandatory Skills

Preferred Functional / Technical Expertise

• Strong background in ABAP core development
• Experience in ABAP Programming Model for SAP Fiori
• Ability to solve complex business problems by building IT solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with testing processes, tools, and best practices in SAP projects

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant SAP certification in UI5 / Fiori / ABAP / S/4HANA is preferred
