About the Job: Looking for SAP O9 IBP Solution Architect

Job Title: SAP O9 IBP Solution Architect

Location: Bangalore

Educational Background: Post graduation/bachelors degree.

Key Responsibilities

• IBP Tenant Architecture & Solution Design
• Act as the trusted o9 IBP Tenant SME for organization
• Define and validate overall IBP tenant architecture, including:
• Tenant separation and linkage (IBP Demand Supply)
• Data model, hierarchies, measures, and planning BOMs
• Security, roles, and access patterns
• Ensure designs align with o9 reference architecture, scalability, and performance best practices
• 2. IBP Process Enablement (TechnoFunctional)
• Translate IBP process requirements into o9 configurations across:
• Demand Review
• Supply & Inventory Review
• Product Review
• Financial / reconciliation views (where applicable)
• Ensure IBP supports family / worldwide forecasting, scenario analysis, and consensus workflows
• Advise on what belongs in IBP vs. Demand/Supply planning to avoid overengineering
• Expectations from Resources
• 3. Design Review, Impact & Risk Assessment
• Review proposed enhancements and changes across:
• o Models, hierarchies, calculations, workflows, dashboards
• o Batch execution, sizing, and performance implications
• Provide clear impact and risk assessments, including:
• o Release and upgrade impacts
• o Data volume and performance risks
• o Architectural tradeoffs and alternatives
• 4. Implementation Oversight & Quality Assurance
• Partner with business and o9 delivery teams during:
• o Blueprinting
• o Build
• o UAT and deployment
• Ensure solutions are enterprisegrade, supportable, and futureproof
• 5. Knowledge Transfer & Tenant Governance
• Build internal capability through:
• o Architecture documentation and runbooks
• o Design walkthroughs and working sessions
• o Office hours for IBP design and troubleshooting
• Provide recommendations for ongoing IBP tenant governance, including:
• o Change control
• o Design standards
• o Reuse patterns across planning domains
• 6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as the single senior o9 IBP architecture point of contact
• Work closely with:
• IT, and Architecture leads
• o9 Product Management (when gaps or roadmap alignment are needed)
• Communicate complex technical topics in businessrelevant terms
• Minimum Profile Expectations
• Senior technofunctional Solution Architect
• Handson experience with o9 IBP implementations (not only Demand/Supply)
• Proven experience designing enterprisescale tenants
• Strong understanding of IBP process design, not just configuration
• Ability to operate in an advisory + handson hybrid role
