Job Description: SAP PI/PO/CPI Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP PI/PO/CPI Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in support and implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in interface design, development, and configuration across SAP middleware technologies, along with proven experience in handling incidents, service disruptions, and end-to-end integration implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support interfaces in SAP PI/PO/CPI environments.
• Work on both development and configuration aspects of integration solutions.
• Deliver and support at least end-to-end interface implementations, including:
• SLD
• ESR
• ID
• TSD
• Unit Testing / UAT
• Transport of changes
• Handle incidents, tickets, and service disruptions in the PI/PO/CPI landscape.
• Develop and support integrations using SAP standard adapters such as:
• File
• SFTP
• REST
• JDBC
• JMS
• RFC
• SOAP
• IDOC_AAE
• HTTP_AAE
• MAIL
• 3rd Party adapters
• Work on Java and Groovy scripting for complex integration scenarios.
• Support and enhance interfaces involving IDOC, REST, SOAP, RFC, JMS, and file-based integrations.
• Participate in UAT, deployment, transport management, and production support activities.
• Provide technical solutions for business integration requirements across logistics or finance domains.
• Actively contribute to issue resolution, change requests, and ongoing support activities.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Take ownership of deliverables, timelines, effort estimates, and quality outcomes.
• Share knowledge, contribute to best practices, and support team collaboration.

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO/CPI
• Strong expertise in Interface Design & Configuration
• Hands-on experience in Java & Groovy Scripting
• Strong experience with:
• IDOC
• REST
• SOAP
• RFC
• JMS
• File / SFTP adapters
• Experience with AIF (Application Interface Framework)
• Proven experience in End-to-End Implementations
• Strong experience in Incident & Ticket Handling
• At least 2 end-to-end SAP PI/PO/CPI implementation projects
• Good knowledge of at least one SAP module in Logistics or Finance at key-user level
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in both business and technical challenges
• Ability to take responsibility and make decisions independently

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of OData
• Basic knowledge of ABAP
• Exposure to SAP BTP
• Knowledge of SLD
• Experience in EDI implementation

Preferred Functional / Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in handling Change Requests (CRs)
• Ability to work as a technical team lead for assigned deliverables
• Exposure to best practices and integration methodologies
• Experience in dynamic project environments with multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to work in 2nd shift (2 PM IST to 11 PM IST)

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant SAP certification in PI/PO/CPI is preferred
