Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP MDG solutions for governing enterprise master data across domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, Business Partner, Finance, and Asset Master Data. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP MDG configuration, data governance processes, workflow management, data quality, and integration with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support SAP MDG solutions across multiple master data domains.
- Configure and customize SAP MDG data models, business rules, validations, and workflows.
- Design and maintain governance processes for Material, Customer, Vendor, and Business Partner master data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define data governance policies.
- Develop and configure change request workflows, approvals, and validations.
- Integrate SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, ERP, CRM, and third-party applications.
- Perform data migration, data replication, and data quality management activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MDG functional and technical issues.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment.
- Create functional specifications and documentation.
- Strong experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
- Experience in one or more domains:
- MDG-M (Material Master)
- MDG-S (Supplier/Vendor Master)
- MDG-C (Customer Master)
- MDG-BP (Business Partner)
- MDG-F (Financial Master Data)
- Hands-on experience in:
- Data Modeling
- Change Request Management
- Workflow Configuration
- Data Replication Framework (DRF)
- Business Rules Framework Plus (BRF+)
- Data Quality Management
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP.
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and workflows.
- Experience in data migration and governance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
