Expectations

• Facilitate design, development, and support of SAP CPI-based integrations
• Analyze business and technical integration requirements
• Design integration architecture and interface specifications
• Develop, test, deploy, and monitor CPI integration flows
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures and performance issues
• Coordinate with functional, BTP, and external system teams
• Support high-priority production issues and emergency fixes
• Manage transports and deployment activities
• Maintain integration documentation and mappings
• Proactively identify integration improvements and optimizations
• Support new implementations, rollouts, and ongoing support projects
• Mentor junior integration consultants when required

Must Haves

• 58 years of experience in SAP Integration / Middleware roles
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Integration Suite)
• Experience designing and developing iFlows using CPI
• Strong knowledge of SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP adapters
• Experience in message mapping, value mapping, and content modifier
• Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting for CPI integrations
• Strong understanding of API-based integrations and interface design
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SAP and non-SAP systems
• Knowledge of certificate management, security, OAuth, and authentication
• Experience in monitoring, error handling, and performance optimization
• Exposure to UAT, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization
• Good documentation and communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience in S/4HANA transformation or integration-heavy programs
• Exposure to API Management and event-driven integration
• Experience working in Agile delivery or global rollout projects
• SAP CPI / Integration Suite Certification is an added advantage
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience working with Japanese customers is an added advantage
• Willingness for short-term or long-term travel to Japan, based on project needs
