Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Architect to design and deliver scalable SAP solutions across S/4HANA and ECC landscapes. The role involves defining architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring high performance, integration, and best practices across SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Define end-to-end SAP technical architecture (ABAP, S/4HANA, integrations)
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with enterprise standards
• Built In Hyderabad
• Lead SAP transformation programs (S/4HANA implementation & conversion)
• Development & Technical Leadership
• Provide guidance on ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, OData
• Review code quality, performance tuning, and optimization strategies
• Ensure adoption of code pushdown techniques and clean core principles

Integration & Interfaces

• Architect integrations using IDOCs, RFC, Web Services, APIs
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP and Non-SAP systems
• S/4HANA & Modernization
• Lead S/4HANA conversion (Brownfield/Greenfield)
• Perform custom code remediation and impact analysis
• Implement Fiori/UI5 extensions and modern UX solutions

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Drive architecture governance and best practices
• Team Leadership
• Mentor ABAP developers and technical consultants
• Conduct design reviews and ensure delivery quality
• Lead offshore/onshore teams in global delivery models

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in ABAP, OOABAP, RICEF objects
• Hands-on experience in S/4HANA & ABAP on HANA
• Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, OData, Fiori
• Knowledge of performance tuning & code optimization
• Integration & Tools
• IDOCs, RFC, REST/SOAP APIs
• SAP Gateway, SAP BTP (preferred)
• Experience in SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, HR integration)

Architecture Skills

• Solution design & architecture frameworks
• Strong understanding of SAP landscapes & system design
• Experience in enterprise architecture governance

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science

10+ years in SAP ABAP with 3+ years as Architect/Lead
