SAP ABAP-Data Migration(ECC)

Job Description:

SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in ECC-to-ECC data migration projects, BDC, BAPI/IDoc-based loads, and business-user or functional consultant coordination is required. Experience in custom Database objects, Programs, Reports, User exits. Preferred working experience with cross applications and Third-party & Peripheral systems.

Soft-skills/Analytical skills & Other Requirements:

• Good Analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be having enthusiasm and energy.
• Very good awareness of entire SDLC and processes related to SDLC. Should also be good in visualizing and formulating process flow diagrams.

Mandatory: Must be willing to work 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM IST

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse legacy data and define migration strategy.
• Good understanding on Extract Transform Load flow.
• Conduct data mapping between source systems and SAP SD & MM.
• Prepare Technical Specifications for migration objects.
• Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading activities.
• Validate migrated data and support reconciliation.
• Work closely with business users & functional consultants, technical migration teams, and SAP consultants.
• Support mock loads, dress rehearsals, and cutover activities.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues technically.
• Ensure compliance with business and audit requirements.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of SAP ABAP technical experience.
• 2+ full-cycle SAP implementation or data migration projects.
• Experience in ECC migration projects preferred.

Required Skills:

• The candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench)
• SAP Data Services (BODS (Business Objects Data Services))
• Strong knowledge of ABAP, BAPIs/BDC, IDocs.
• Working experience on objects in areas like SD,MM,FI etc.
