SAP ABAP

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including Data Dictionary, RICEF objects, Reports, ALV, Function Modules, IDoc, BADI, enhancements, Forms, Workflow, OOPs concepts, and BAPI.

Experience in OData services, Proxy/Web Services, and SAP integration-related developments.

Hands-on experience or good working knowledge of ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP classes, and performance optimization in ABAP.

Good understanding of ABAP 7.5 syntax, modularization techniques, debugging, code review, and technical documentation.

Ability to work on development, support, enhancement, maintenance, and production issue resolution across SAP landscapes.

Good-to-Have

Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, and ABAP on HANA will be preferred.

Exposure to S/4HANA conversion/support projects, custom code remediation, and performance tuning.

Experience in preparing technical specifications, effort estimation, impact analysis, and unit test documents.

Basic functional understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, WM, or HR will be an added advantage.

Experience working in AMS/support, implementation, rollout, upgrade, or migration projects.
