Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and technically proficient Electrical Engineer to join our Sales & Service team based in Pune. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in the plastics machinery sector, specifically in plastic injection moulding machines and auxiliaries, and will be comfortable managing both pre-sales technical discussions and after-sales service engagements with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

• Identify, develop, and convert sales opportunities for our equipment in the assigned territory
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution pitching to plastic processors and OEM customers
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender responses
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team revenue goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in the plastics industry
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy
• Coordinate with the internal team for order processing, delivery timelines, and payment follow-ups

After-Sales Service

• Provide on-site installation, commissioning, and start-up support for our equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and PLC-related faults on our equipment at customer sites
• Execute planned preventive maintenance and periodic inspection services
• Train customer operators and maintenance personnel on safe machine operation and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain detailed service records, site visit reports, and spare parts consumption logs
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints to maximize machine uptime and customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with the service team for escalations, spare parts procurement, and warranty claims

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Sales and/or Service of capital goods in the plastics industry
• Demonstrated experience with plastic injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment (material dryers, chillers, hopper loaders, temperature controllers, conveyors, etc.)
• Sound knowledge of electrical control panels, PLC/HMI systems, servo drives, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems on injection moulding machines
• Familiarity with all major machine brands
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and machine manuals
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical acumen in electrical & automation systems for plastic processing machinery
• Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi
• Proven ability to close technical sales and manage the full sales cycle independently
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of CRM tools is an advantage
• High degree of self-motivation, ownership, and professional integrity
