Role Description
The Technical Sales Professional role is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of technical products and solutions. The position requires a strong combination of technical expertise and sales capability to effectively communicate product value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential clients within target markets
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Understand customer technical requirements through detailed needs analysis
- Deliver product demonstrations, proposals, and tailored solutions
- Collaborate with technical teams to customize offerings
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Track industry trends and competitor activities
- Provide post-sales support and client assistance
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
Requirements
- 23 years of experience in technical sales
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- Proven track record in selling technical products/services
- Strong ability to translate technical features into business value
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience with CRM tools and sales software
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to travel
- Quick learner with adaptability to new technologies
