KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Analysis & Capability Development (70% of time)

o Master and own deliverables in the form of reports & presentations, and send quality output in a timely manner with upgrades

o Design superlative templates, develop and execute dashboards/ tools in a turn-key scalable format, leveraging GCP & Tableau.

o Translate data into actionable insights by identifying meaningful category indicators and trends to deliver stakeholder-ready business recommendations.

o Provide insights around category & specific consumer behavior derived from Panel/POS/Syndicated data sources.

o Own development of best-in-class reports, tools, and customized shelving/assortment plans while finding synergies and avoiding redundancy.

o Respond to questions about data and deliver response in a user-friendly, visually represented format.

o Demonstrate an analytical bend of mind in all tasks/projects/collaborations.

o Distill actionable insights from the data to offer stakeholder-ready business recommendations by identifying meaningful customer indicators & trends.

o Actively builds & proliferates category management knowledge & principles.

o Actively build acumen for the Pet category.

o Confidently present category dynamics to stakeholders and rationalize techniques and model fit.

o Showcase thought leadership; look for ways to integrate better business solutions.

o Anticipating customer needs based on business trends and previous projects.

Continuous Improvement mindset to deliver Executional Excellence, and Project Management (20% of time)

o Ensure TAT is upheld via awareness on process requirements, meeting benchmark time estimates and through articulate expectation settings with the stakeholder

o Guarantee data quality and accuracy through thorough comprehension of the request, accurate application of tools/platforms with an eye for detail, and a robust data & logic check

o Eliminate Waste, Contribute to the Functional Productivity Goals

o CI Mindset: develop and drive a lens of continuous improvement for the projects, process & larger team

o Project Management: Juggle multiple projects, including. long-range projects and own project scoping, to troubleshooting, collaborating, to timely communication/iterations with peers and stakeholders, to high-impact completion and presentation

o Mentoring & Training new hires and analysts to excel in their roles and outperform expectations.

Building Stakeholder Relationships (10% of time)

o Brand themselves as a SME on multiple fronts.

o Understand client needs/ customer request and see the larger picture to enable holistic solutions.

o Ability to recommend and influence changes to process/procedures.

o Explore business development opportunities and transform into tangible results.

o Ability to communicate challenges in an assertive manner.

o Work through people and processes to accomplish superlative results.

o Articulate and comprehensive presentations to the audience.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education Full-time graduation from an accredited university

Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors

Minimum years of related experience required: 3-6 years of relevant Business Reporting, Analytics & Visualization experience in CPG (or related) industry, Data Modelling preferred history of collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Experience with market data analysis tools is required (experience working with ACNielsen and IRI data preferred.)

MS Excel & Tableau proficiency - preparing dynamic dashboards and working through large volumes of data effectively

Experience in analysis data and applying analytical techniques (preferred)

Agility to learn new databases, tools, and platforms on the fly and implement in real time

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail, ability to complete given tasks with accuracy.

Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced & changing environment.

Organization and Prioritization - in line with the team's goals


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters

Preferred Major Area of Study: Business Management, Statistics, Marketing or Retail

Preferred years of related experience: 5 - 6 years of relevant Business Reporting and/or Analytics experience

Experience with market data analysis tools is required (experience working with ACNielsen and IRI data preferred.)

Expertise POS data, recognizing patterns for GMI categories and/or customers
