SaaS Application Technical Support

Role Overview:

RunLoyal is a vertical SaaS platform built for the pet care industry with real bookings, real customers, real uptime requirements. As Technical Support, you'll be embedded with engineering and DevOps to keep production systems healthy. You'll monitor infrastructure, triage incidents, manage cloud and database operations, and pick up meaningful SaaS ops skills fast.

What You'll Own

Production Support Monitor apps and internal tools, analyze logs and alerts, escalate issues, and support incident handling end-to-end.

AWS Infrastructure Work with EC2, VPC, Subnets, and Security Groups. Assist deployments and support day-to-day cloud server management.

Database Operations Create and manage MySQL users, execute SQL queries, and assist with maintenance and troubleshooting.

Monitoring & Observability Use Sentry and Mezmo to monitor apps, investigate log anomalies, and drive proactive issue prevention.

Linux & Ops Navigate Linux servers for troubleshooting, log analysis, process monitoring, and system diagnostics.

Automation & AI Tools Help with scripting and automation tasks, explore AI-assisted "vibe coding" to boost team velocity.

What You Bring

Must Have

• Solid hands-on knowledge of Linux commands, MySQL, and AWS components VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, EC2
• Valid AWS certification
• Understanding of networking basics: IP, Ports, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH
• Familiarity with log analysis, monitoring systems, and production support workflows
• Comfort with Git/GitHub, REST APIs, and basic deployment concepts
• Strong troubleshooting mindset, clear communication, and collaborative instincts

Nice to Have

• Docker or containerized environment exposure
• Shell/Bash scripting knowledge
• Experience with monitoring or observability tools
• Internship or academic project experience in infrastructure or backend systems
