Role Overview

We are building a next-generation robotics simulation platform for industrial automation and digital twins.

Were looking for a Robotics Simulation Engineer who can bridge frontend 3D visualization and backend simulation engines, creating highly realistic, interactive robotic systems (arms, conveyors, machines) directly in the browser.

This is a full-stack simulation role combining physics, math, rendering, and system design.

Key Responsibilities

Simulation (Backend - Python)

• Design and develop robotics simulation engine (kinematics, motion planning, constraints)
• Implement forward/inverse kinematics for robotic arms
• Build physics-aware motion systems (velocity, acceleration, collision handling)
• Integrate with robotics frameworks (ROS-like architecture, if applicable)
• Develop scalable simulation pipelines & APIs

3D Frontend (Web)

• Build real-time 3D interfaces using Three.js / WebGL / WebGPU
• Visualize robotic systems with interactive controls & debugging tools
• Implement simulation playback, timeline, and state inspection tools
• Optimize large-scale scenes for performance & responsiveness

Integration

• Connect Python simulation engine with frontend (WebSockets / APIs)
• Stream real-time simulation data to UI
• Ensure synchronization between physics engine 3D rendering

Required Skills

• Strong Python experience (NumPy, SciPy, simulation frameworks)
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills
• Experience with Three.js / WebGL / WebGPU
• Deep understanding of 3D math
• Linear algebra (vectors, matrices, transforms)
• Rotations (Euler, Quaternions)
• Knowledge of robotics fundamentals
• Kinematics
• Motion planning
• Coordinate systems

Good to Have

• Experience with ROS / PyBullet / Mujoco / Isaac Sim
• Knowledge of GPU acceleration / physics engines
• Experience with digital twin / industrial simulation systems
• Familiarity with GLTF / USD pipelines
• Exposure to real-time collaboration or multi-user simulation
