Job Description

ABOUT US

Weeds cost Indian farmers billions every year. Herbicides are expensive, harmful, and increasingly regulated. We built Rakshak a tractor-mounted robot that finds every weed and burns it with a laser at high precision, autonomously, while the tractor moves. No chemicals. No soil disturbance. Already running on real farms.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

Build and improve laser weeding path planning stack including dynamic response on real uneven farmland

Own the manipulator control system kinematics, trajectory generation, and precision actuation for the laser arm

Built automation calibration pipeline for manipulators and camera systems.

Fuse data from cameras, IMUs, and encoders for reliable position and environment awareness

Go to the field, watch the robot break, figure out why, and fix it

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

~2 years of hands-on robotics experience shipped hardware, not just simulations

Solid C++ and Python comfortable writing real-time, embedded-safe code

Working knowledge of ROS / ROS2 nodes, TF, launch files, the full picture

Experience with perception: camera pipelines, object detection, or sensor fusion

Some exposure to path planning or manipulator control even from coursework or projects

B.Tech / M.Tech in Robotics, Mechatronics, ECE, EEE, or CS

THE CULTURE

We work out of a warehouse in Hyderabad that doubles as a lab, test track, and occasional cricket ground. Small team, real problems, and there is a dog. You'll be one of the first engineers genuine ownership, genuine responsibility, and your code running on a real farm within weeks.

We care more about what you've built than where you studied.
