Job Description
Role: Riser Analysis Engineer
Experience: 3+years
Location: Pune
Mode of work: WFO
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Engineering Analysis: Performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and dynamic simulations to evaluate riser behavior under environmental loads (waves, current).
- Structural Integrity: Analyzing strength, fatigue, interference, and buckling to ensure safe operation.
- Design Scope: Working on various systems such as Steel Catenary Risers (SCRs), Lazy Wave Risers, and drilling riser systems.
- Software Utilization: Utilizing specialized software for modeling, including Optima or similar tools.
- Interdisciplinary Work: Collaborating with marine, subsea structures, and flow assurance teams.
Typical Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Ocean Engineering.
- Deepwater engineering experience with deep knowledge of riser behavior.
- Experience in SLB or similar Subsea organizations (e.g., Aker Solutions, TechnipFMC).
