Job Description

In this role, you will be a core contributor to designing, integrating, and validating the communication systems that serve as the lifeline of our spacecraft. Youll work across disciplines and take ownership of critical RF subsystems, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance.


System Design & Integration: Design, simulate, and implement satellite communication architectures.

Link Budget Analysis: Perform detailed link budget calculations across orbital conditions and ground station configurations.

Hardware Selection & Testing: Evaluate and test COTS and custom RF components (transceivers, amplifiers, filters, splitters).

Lab & Field Validation: Conduct hands-on RF testing using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and anechoic chambers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with mechanical and thermal teams on antenna placement, thermal management, and structural integration.

Regulatory Compliance: Support adherence to ITU regulations, including PFD limits and emission constraints.

B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Microwave Engineering, or related field

23 years of hands-on experience in RF/Microwave system design

Experience in aerospace, defense, or satellite communications preferred


Strong fundamentals in RF circuit design, antenna theory, and electromagnetics

Proficiency in RF simulation tools (HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, ADS)

Experience working with S-band and X-band frequencies

Solid understanding of polarization (RHCP/LHCP) and modulation schemes (QPSK, APSK)

Hands-on expertise with RF lab equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, power meter, signal generator)

Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively
