Job Description
What you'll do
- Review customer contracts (MSAs, SOWs, Amendments) before execution and assess revenue recognition implications.
- Apply ASC 606 / Ind AS 115 principles to identify performance obligations, transaction price, SSP, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Delivery, and Finance to ensure revenue-compliant deal structures.
- Own revenue governance, deferred revenue, contract assets/liabilities, and month-end revenue close.
- Support SOX compliance, audits, and revenue-related controls.
- Drive process improvements and automation across revenue accounting workflows.
We're looking for
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA
- 815 years of experience in Revenue Controllership / Revenue Assurance / Revenue Accounting
- Hands-on expertise in ASC 606 / IFRS 15 / Ind AS 115
- Experience reviewing customer contracts (MSAs, SOWs, Change Orders, Amendments) from a revenue recognition perspective
- Strong understanding of:
- Time & Material (T&M)
- Fixed Price
- Managed Services
- Milestone-based contracts
- Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
- Strong exposure to SOX, audits, internal controls, and technical accounting
