OPENING FOR A WELL KNOWN OIL & GAS COMPANY In Mumbai:

Role: RESERVOIR ENGINEER

Experience: 12+ years of experience in Reservoir Engineering within the upstream oil & gas industry.

About Role:

We are looking for an experienced Reservoir Engineer to join an integrated subsurface team supporting offshore oil & gas operations. The role involves reservoir management, production optimization, reserves evaluation, and field development planning to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and asset value. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical expertise and recommendations to support well interventions, production enhancement initiatives, and long-term reservoir depletion strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in Reservoir Engineering within the upstream oil & gas industry.
• Should be seasoned individual contributors with strong domain expertise and ability to operate independently

Strong expertise in:

• Reservoir Management
• Reservoir Performance Analysis
• Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA)
• Decline Curve Analysis (DCA)
• Material Balance Studies
• Reserves Estimation
• Experience in production optimization, well interventions, and field development planning.
• Hands-on experience with PETEX IPM and Kappa Saphir.
• Strong understanding of rock and fluid properties, depletion mechanisms, and water injection management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and collaborative environments.

Preferred:

• Experience in waterflood management and/or gas reservoir management.
• Exposure to numerical reservoir simulation studies.
• Experience working on offshore assets and mature fields.
