Job Description


Support Corporate and Investment Bank clients by delivering timely, accurate transaction management within Wholesale Payments Operations.
Improve client experience and risk outcomes through strong controls, rapid exception resolution, and process automation.


As a Reference Data Analyst within Wholesale Payments Operations (Corporate and Investment Bank), you provide operational support to ensure client transaction management is completed on time and accurately. You resolve exceptions and client inquiries, providing subject matter expertise while maintaining a strong controls mindset and escalating risks appropriately. You also support daily regulatory reporting and remediation activities and lead process improvement and automation initiatives to strengthen efficiency and quality.

 Job Responsibilities 

  • Execute assigned transaction management tasks accurately and within required timelines and cutoffs.
  • Resolve exceptions and client inquiries promptly, providing clear status updates and driving items to closure.
  • Manage assigned work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability.
  • Identify risks and control gaps that could impact the process or the firm and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Interpret legal language in provided documents to determine operational impact and required actions.
  • Perform daily regulatory reporting tasks and remediation activities as required, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls, and service quality.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities 

  • Bachelor’s degree with understanding of financial services industry, products, and operational processes
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high accuracy under deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong client focus and customer care practices
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and flexibility to work US hours

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities 

  • Experience in middle office or back office operations
  • Experience handling exception management and remediation in a controls-focused operating environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation independently
  • Experience providing subject matter expertise support to clients and internal stakeholders
