Rebar Detailer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare reinforcement shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and rebar placing layouts based on structural and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Coordinate closely with engineers to ensure detailing accuracy and clarity.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant BS, EN, and ISO standards.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between architectural, structural, and service drawings.
• Manage drawing revisions, document control, and submission schedules.
• Utilize software such as CAD, Revit, CADS RC, or RebarCAD for detailing and BBS generation.
• Participate in internal quality reviews and implement best practices for rebar detailing and documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum25 yearsof experience inrebar detailing / structural drafting.
• Strong knowledge ofreinforcement detailing standards and practices.
• Proficiency inCAD; experience withCADS RC / RebarCAD / Revitpreferred.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and GA drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience ininternational projects(UK, Middle East, or European standards).
