Job Description

Responsibilities :

1. Ensure availability to perform the necessary tests in the development of new R&D, procurement, and quality

products by managing vacations, resources, maintenance, headcount, and training;

2. Ensure rapid support for the quality team in the event of specific studies of quality issues, assisting in

negotiating current laboratory demands, understanding the degree of criticality each demand presents for

business continuity and adequate service to the company's customers, not just the laboratories;

3. Ensure infrastructure availability to perform tests according to any client's needs;

4. Guide clients on the processes and procedures for requesting and performing tests in R&D laboratories;

5. Ensure the availability of supplies and equipment for laboratory testing by accurately mapping demands

and current supply levels, aligning them with the available budget;

6. Support other plants in their testing, procedures, and development of improvements and product and

equipment development activities by providing workforce compatible with demand, sharing knowledge,

methods, and procedures, among others;

7. Ensure the availability of financial resources for the activities listed here, managing their proper allocation,

according to the company's macro priorities for product development, support, and production;

8. Optimize the use of resources, understanding the necessary demands and reviewing the allocation of

personnel and equipment to take advantage of low-demand periods to make improvements or reduce

personnel availability to maintain high availability during high-demand periods;

9. Ensure the alignment of the team's individual goals with the laboratory's strategic plan to maintain the

correct evolution of capabilities and total available knowledge;

10. Management, definition, and monitoring of area performance indicators (KPIs).

11. Team management and conflict resolution.


Requirements: Intermediate office skills such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Workspace,

basic SAP, leadership, communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, time management,

advanced English, flexibility, teamwork, negotiation, empathy.


Desirable: Knowledge of development lab management, fluent English, project management, and people management.
