Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a data-driven, agile, and proactive Trainee to join our Quick Commerce (Q-Comm) team. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day ad operations across platforms like Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys "live" marketing where every hour counts and data translates into immediate sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Daily Sales Monitoring: Analyze daily sales data to identify trends, peaks, and dips across different product categories.
- Performance Tracking: Maintain trackers for key metrics including Sales, Spend, ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), and ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sales).
2. Campaign Optimization
- Bid & Budget Management: Monitor and adjust keyword bids and daily budgets to ensure maximum "Share of Voice" without overspending.
- Keyword Strategy: Execute the bifurcation of Generic vs. Competitor keyword strategies to capture high-intent shoppers.
3. Inventory & Hyper-local Strategy
- Stock-to-Ad Alignment: Regularly check city-level and dark-store-level stock reports. You will pause ads for out-of-stock SKUs and push spends where inventory is high.
- Regional Customization: Tailor ad strategies based on city-specific consumer behavior and regional demand.
4. Account Growth & Efficiency
- ROI Focus: Constantly experiment with ad placements (Product Boosters vs. Banners) to improve overall account profitability.
- Share of Voice (SOV): Audit the app interface frequently to ensure our brand maintains top-row visibility against competitors.
Additional Pointers (Added for Value)
- Creative Coordination: Work with the design team to refresh ad banners and product tiles based on seasonal trends or high-conversion triggers.
- Competitor Benchmarking: Keep a "eye on the aisle"monitor competitor pricing, discounts, and new launches on the platform.
- AB Testing: Conduct small-scale tests on different ad copies or landing pages (category pages) to see what drives better CTR (Click-Through Rate).
- Feedback Loop: Coordinate with the supply chain team to provide feedback on which products are "winning" in ads but failing in fulfillment.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or Business.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a must).
- Mindset: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where strategies might need to change mid-day.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to report findings to internal teams and brand partners.
